Deliverability Best Practices

Self-serve8–12 min readAI Follow Up & Sequences

Deliverability determines whether your emails land in the inbox or the spam folder. It is directly controlled by your domain health, sending behavior, and content quality.

Mailbox warming

New sending domains must be warmed before running campaigns. Warming = sending small volumes of email (to real, engaged addresses) that increases gradually over 2–4 weeks. This builds a positive sending reputation with ISPs.

Enable automatic warming at Settings → Sending Domains → [Domain] → Enable Warming. The platform handles the schedule automatically.

Do not send campaigns from unwarmed domains. Cold domain + high volume = immediate spam folder placement + potential domain blacklisting.

Monitoring deliverability

Settings → Sending Domains → [Domain] → Health. The platform shows your spam rate, bounce rate, and domain reputation score. If spam rate exceeds 0.3%, pause and investigate immediately.
